What does SGA do?
SGA has three major roles: advocate for student needs, support student organizations, and build community at the tower. SGA communicates student feedback with the administration, provides funds for students groups in the Fall and Spring, and hosts school-wide social events.
How can I reach SGA?
You can reach out to SGA via email through sgalaw@bu.edu. Alternatively, you can attend an executive board member's officer hours found on the executive board page. Office hours typically take place in the SGA Office, which is located on the ground floor of the law tower in the lobby.
What events can I look forward to?

BAR REVIEWS

Spring: Barrister's Ball
Our annual Barrister's Ball will be in March 2026. This is the last event before finals season, and it’s the perfect time to celebrate your academic year.
Spring: Senior Week
Senior Week is a BU Law tradition. After finals are over in spring semester, this week is for graduating 3Ls to have fun before settling in for bar review.
Fall: HalLAWeen
Our annual HalLAWeen is on October 30, 2025. This is a beloved event we typically hold at Royale—with food, drinks, and a costume contest. HalLAWeen will be back next year so get excited.
Fall: Boat Cruise
The Boat Cruise was on September 19, 2025. BU Law’s Annual Boat Cruise on the Boston Harbor is the first big social event of the semester, and it's the perfect way to start off the school year. See you next year :)
