ALL: The doors to the Law Tower will be unlocked Thursday, March 27 and Friday, March 28 for the Ms. JD Conference.
ALL: We are excited to share that LGBTQIA+ Rights Leader John Ward ('76) will be BU Law's 2026 Commencement Speaker on May 17th. You can read more about John Ward and view the announcement here.
ALL: Fricklas-Astion Prize in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. Students are invited to submit (1) an essay about the student’s interest in intellectual property or entertainment law, and (2) a paper written by the student on an intellectual property or entertainment law topic. The winner of the competition will receive a $3,000 prize; in the event of a tie, each winner will receive $3,000. Submissions must be emailed to Olivia Gorman at oliviaeg@bu.edu by April 1, 2026. The winner will be announced by April 17. 3Ls: FINAL REMINDER: New York Bar Application to Open March 1-31, 2026. For all graduating students applying for the New York Bar Exam, the application will open March 1, 2026, and close on March 31, 2026. All applicants are encouraged to review the NY State Board of Law Examiners' website for the application requirements. For questions, please reach out to Associate Dean Gerry Muir at gmmuir@bu.edu.
ALL: Summer Term Student Life Coordinator Position. During the summer, the Summer Term Pre-College Programs welcomes around 1,400 high school students from around the world to BU’s campus and are in need of SLCs to serve as their senior most residential staff. Compensation includes a weekly stipend ($500), air-conditioned private room, and dining plan (19 meals/week). Employment dates are June 1 to August 8. Housing and dining are provided beginning June 7. All interested candidates should email (summerhs@bu.edu) their resume and a cover letter.
