ALL: BU MADE Project Training in Collaboration with HOME. As part of the MADE project, law students help tenants exercise their rights in the face of eviction while learning the basics of landlord/tenant law, how to counsel clients, and how to create pleadings. If you are interested in being a MADE volunteer, you must attend the remaining mandatory training session on Tuesday, September 9, at 12:45pm. If you cannot attend either training but still wish to be part of the MADE project, please email Angel Yi at angely@bu.edu. The training will last about 1 hour and will cover client counseling and tenant rights. Once you are trained, you can sign up to help tenants respond to their eviction case through the MADE portal. MADE interviews count for pro bono hours if you are looking to complete the Pro Bono Pledge! All law students, including 1Ls and LLMs, are encouraged to take part. Please submit an application at tinyurl.com/bumade2025 by Friday, September 12 at 12pm to be considered for a volunteer position.
