2Ls & 3Ls: Accommodation Registration for the November MPRE - Due July 30, 2026. Students requesting accommodations for the November MPRE should submit their request as far in advance of their desired test administration as possible, and ideally no later than July 30, 2026. Please work with BU Disability & Access Services to complete the needed documentation.
2Ls & 3Ls: Apply to Be an AE Fellow! The Academic Enrichment (AE) Program is seeking applications for AE Fellowships for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year! Fellows play a vital role in innovating and presenting programming to support 1L student success. Fellows will spend, on average, 6-8 hours per week assisting with the planning and teaching of AE workshops and programs; holding weekly office hours; developing student support resources; and performing other duties to support the work of the AE Program. This is a paid position. You can find more information about the position here. All applications are due by August 7 to Professor Lisa Freudenheim, lfreuden@bu.edu.
2Ls & 3Ls: Registration Deadline for the November MPRE: September 17.The Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) is a two-hour, 60-question multiple-choice examination that is administered three times per year and required for lawyer licensure in almost every U.S. jurisdiction. Rising 3Ls who haven't completed this bar requirement are strongly encouraged to apply before the Sept. 17th deadline. Please contact Associate Dean Muir at gmmuir@bu.edu for any questions.
2Ls: Helix Champions (Student Representatives) Wanted. Helix Bar Review by AccessLex is looking for Champions (aka Student Reps) to start this fall! As a Champion, you earn semester stipends and activity bonuses PLUS a complimentary Helix Bar Review course of your choice when you spread the word and share these resources with friends and colleagues. ALL: MA Lawyer Wellbeing Survey. Our local lawyers assistance organization, Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) of MA (LCLMA) holds a Wellbeing Conference each spring. The conference connects law schools, law students and practitioners to discuss wellbeing in the profession. The organizers for Spring 2027 have created a survey to identify some topics that will be most meaningful for law students and the legal academy. The survey is quick, anonymous, and easy to fill out, and the data will be applied directly to planning. Well-Being for Law Students – Fill out form
ALL: Princeton Review Student Opinion Survey. Will you help BU Law update the Princeton Review rankings by taking this online student opinion survey here? While some rankings are based almost entirely on hard data, other more subjective rankings like the Princeton Review rankings are based entirely on anonymous student opinion. Student opinion plays a key role in Princeton Review rankings list like Best Classroom Experience, Best Professors, Best Career Prospects and Best Quality of Life, among others. Your opinions also can help prospective students during their selection process. The first 60 BU Law students to complete the survey and send a screenshot of the submission page to studaff@bu.edu will get a BU Law beanie (see attached pic). You will be able to pick up the beanie in the fall when this heat wave is just a distant memory. The median completion time for the survey is only eight minutes. Please know that although you provide your information at the beginning of the survey, your responses will not be attributed to you. Any analysis and results will be based on anonymized data.

Revere Beach International Sand Sculpting Festival. From July 17 – July 19, the annual Sand Sculpting Festival will take place at Revere Beach. Stop by between 10am – 10pm to see the sculptures while also enjoying the food vendors/trucks, live music, amusement rides, and more!

Everyone250 Historical Markers. Take yourself on a free walking tour of Boston's newest historical markers. Use this interactive map to walk around and check out Everyone250 Historical Markers and other destinations where that celebrate the history of Boston. It preserves memory, educates, and recognizes important community contributions in our history. On July 18, 12:30 pm, check out the latest unveiling of a marker, Plaza Betances, followed by the Festival Betances.
