Subject: Happy Monday, OutLaw!

Hi, everyone!

Good morning and happy Monday, OutLaw! I hope you’re all having a good start to the week! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help make it better. Whether you’re juggling assignments or just trying to stay on top of things, remember that OutLaw is here to support you. We’ve got a couple of exciting events and opportunities this week that we’d love for you to check out.

We’re kicking off the week with OutLaw office hours today at 1:00 pm in Room 410. Caroline and Chloe will be there spilling the tea – literally and figuratively! We’ll have plenty of tea, snacks, and open conversation. Whether you have specific questions about professors, networking, or just want to swing by for some friendly advice from 2Ls, it’s a great informal space to connect. Come by, grab a treat, and build community with us!

Looking ahead, don’t forget to mark your calendars for the OutLaw X Wilson Sonsini Panel: Demystifying Practice Groups on Thursday, October 24th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Room 410. Lunch will be provided! This is a great opportunity to learn more about different practice areas and get some insight into what it’s like to work at a top firm with a commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion.

Also, we’re excited to announce that OutLaw has two free tickets to the GLAD 25th Annual Spirit of Justice Award Dinner! The dinner will take place on Friday, October 25th from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm in downtown Boston. This event is a fantastic opportunity to network, especially if you’re interested in public interest law and LGBTQ+ advocacy. More information about the event can be found here. If this sounds like something you’d like to attend, reach out to any member of the board. We would love to see OutLaw represented!

OutLaw OUTline Bank Request! OutLaw is (still) in the process of updating our OUTline bank for all of the new 1Ls!! Please fill out this form to add your outlines from previous doctrinal courses. Outlines from 2L and 3L courses are also encouraged! Check out a sneak peek of our outline bank here. If any 1Ls have any questions about outlining, feel free to reach out! Your outlaw e-board is always here to help.

Now, let’s jump into what's coming up this week!

Through participation in the meetings, rallies, and legal education efforts of local grassroots organizations, members of HOME have the opportunity to learn from the efforts of community organizers and assist them in any way that they can.
