We are excited to announce that on January 16, 2026, from 1:15pm to 4:30pm, all 3L students will be eligible to take a practice multiple-choice Diagnostic exam on all topics covered in the MBE portion of the Uniform Bar Exam. This is an invaluable opportunity for early exposure, practice, and personalized feedback to set you up for success on the bar exam – no studying required! Registration is required. Sign up here to ensure your spot. And we will be serving a pizza lunch beforehand – details to follow. Reach out to Lisa Freudenheim at lfreuden@bu.edu.

2Ls and 3Ls: Would you like to serve as a student representative to the Intellectual Property & Information Law Program Committee? The committee is looking for one representative each from the 2L and 3L classes to meet approximately twice a month for an hour. Additional research/efforts may be available. Scheduling will be determined in the spring semester based on a time that works for all. The committee is evaluating our IP & information law program in an effort to make it the best possible experience for our students, and to spread the word about the amazing things we are doing at BU. We are evaluating our curricular offerings, course and career advising, networking, extracurricular opportunities, faculty reputation/research, conferences and speakers, and other. We’d love to have input from our students! Interested students should email Jill Collins, jcollin3@bu.edu, and include their resume.

ALL: Green Line Disruption. Although this will not take effect until the following week, we want to call your attention to an upcoming disruption of service on the MBTA Green Line. From Monday, December 8 until Monday, December 22 (the start of winter break), the MBTA will suspend train service from North Station and Babcock Street (B), Kenmore (C & D), and Heath Street (E) to allow for maintenance and upgrades. The MBTA will run shuttle buses on these routes.  We will include more information from the MBTA in next Friday’s update, but wanted to provide advance notice as it will impact travel for many of our students.
