ALL: BU Law Community Service Drop-In. Help us pack care packages and write encouraging notes to unhoused individuals in metro Boston, all to be donated to Pine Street Inn, an organization among the largest homeless services providers in New England. All members of the law community are welcome to swing by the Student Affairs Office in Suite 401 any time between 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 11. A staff member from Pine Street will join us around 1pm to share more information about their shelter and ways to volunteer with them. Please stop by if you’d like to learn more!
1Ls & 2Ls: 2026 Health Law Summer Fellowships. The Boston University School of Law Health Law Program will provide summer funding of up to $6,000.00 for up to four students, either 1Ls or 2Ls, who accept an unpaid summer internship position in Health Law with a non-profit, public interest, or government organization for the summer of 2026. You need not have accepted a position already to apply. You can apply here. To be considered for this funding, please submit the following by February 13, 2026:
Resume;
Offer letter or email (if you have already accepted a position or have an offer);
Response of 250-500 words to the following prompt: "Please describe any past experience working on or studying health law and/or policy, and please share how you plan to work on such issues in your future legal career."

ALL: Certificate in Legal Research Skills for Practice. The Certificate in Legal Research Skills for Practice is a non-credit skills-based program for current JD and LLM students at the School of Law. To complete certification, students take a minimum of 6 one-hour classes on various legal research topics taught by the legal information librarians. Sign-ups are from now till March 19th. 1Ls & 2Ls: How to Request a Letter of Good Standing (For Summer Internships or Similar). If your summer internship requires a Letter of Good Standing or a Letter of Enrollment Verification, please submit that request to Associate Dean Muir (gmmuir@bu.edu), including the name of the office, or officer, to whom the letter should be addressed, the business address of the relevant office, email (if required) and any specific information that is requested. Letters are provided on a rolling basis.
