ALL: Welcome Back Ice Skating! Don't forget to registrar for our annual Welcome Back Ice Skating event on Thursday, January 22 in the Events section below. You can sign up for the 6-7pm or the 7-8pm shift. Skate rentals are free but you are welcome to bring your own. Hot chocolate will be provided.
3Ls: Graduation Applications DUE Saturday, January 17, 2026! All JD students preparing to graduate in May 2026 must file the Graduation Application with the Law Registrar by Saturday, January 17, 2026 to facilitate your transition from student to alumni with the University. Your time and attention to this graduation requirement is appreciated. For questions, please reach out to the Registrar's Office at lawreg@bu.edu or visit them in Suite 502.
2Ls & 3Ls: March 2026 MPRE Registration Deadline: Thursday, January 22, 2026. The Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) is a two-hour, 60-question multiple-choice examination that is administered three times per year. The MPRE is required for admission to the bars of all but two US jurisdictions. BU Law recommends that JD students take the MPRE in between 2L spring and 3L fall to ensure their eligibility to apply for any bar jurisdiction. If you are interested in the March 2026 administration of the MPRE you must register by January 22, 2026. For questions, please reach out to Associate Dean Muir at gmmuir@bu.edu.
1Ls & 2Ls: BU Law's Public Service Summer FundingApplication is Open! You do not need to have secured a summer position in order to apply - applications are due on Friday, January 30, at 5 p.m.
ALL: Fridge Cleanout! This is a reminder that all fridges in the Law Tower will be cleaned out weekly early Friday mornings. This means all items must be removed by Thursday night. Items left in the fridge will be thrown away, including tupperware and lunch boxes.
ALL: Student Health Services (SHS) will be holding an immunization clinic on Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23 from 9:00am - 3:00pm at FitRc (3-Court Gym entrance across fro 25 Buick St.) where they will be offering flu and COVID boosters shots. An appointment is recommeded, but walk-ins are accepted.
ALL: The doors to the Law Tower will be unlocked Friday, January 23 & Saturday, January 24 for the CUPA Con Conference.
