From: Student Affairs Date: October 31, 2025 Subject: On the Docket - 10/31/25
Dear students,
As we know, many students in our community rely on SNAP benefits to make ends meet. We want to highlight a few resources that may be helpful to those experiencing food insecurity:
BU Food Pantry. Order online, pick up on the edge of campus near the Babcock St. B-line station.
Terrier Meal Share is also accessible to all students who are experiencing episodic food insecurity. This is not a dining plan but will provide several meals that students can use to supplement other food resources.
BU Law Financial Aid. If you are struggling financially, please contact our Financial Aid team. Finances are deeply personal, and there may be personalized ways to support you.
BU Law “Leave One, Take One,” box. Located in the Law Student Social Lounge (Room 405), this is a place where you can grab a few non-perishable food items and, if you have the capacity, leave a few items for others.
Other emergency needs. If you have other unmet financial needs, we encourage you to reach out to Student Affairs to see if there are other ways we can help.
We also send our thoughts to those with loved ones in Jamaica, Cuba, Haiti, the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, and other people in the Caribbean recovering from the latest hurricane.
While we hope you're finding more treats than tricks today, we recognize that we’re in a particularly difficult moment for many people for many, many reasons. No matter the issue, please reach out to someone for help – big or small – if you need it.
With care, The Student Affairs Team
