We look forward to celebrating you at your Commencement!
- Law School Lineup for Commencement. All graduates must be assembled no later than 8:00am on Sunday morning. The procession will move into the Track and Tennis Center at 8:45am and Commencement ceremonies will begin at 9:00am. IMPORTANT: Please be sure to check that you have the correct regalia. Please go to the Campus Store with any issues and they will be able to assist you. For all other questions, check the Commencement Ceremony website.
- Spring 2026 Grades. You should have recently received an email from Aida Ten about when to expect grades and when they will release information about scholarly categories.
- Update Your Name Pronunciation ASAP. Your faculty presenters will be using the audio clip of your name pronunciation from Blackboard to prepare for Sunday. Visit https://learn.bu.edu and use your BU Kerberos account to login. Then click on your name on the left side of the page. Please email lawav@bu.edu with any questions regarding your Blackboard Profile Settings or adding your name pronunciation to your account.
- Google Drive Cleanout. This is a reminder to transfer all your Google Drive documents to a personal drive BEFORE graduation. All documents you own will be deleted, even if shared amongst people who are still enrolled.
- Locker Cleanout by May 18. Property left in lockers after the 18th will be considered abandoned and will be removed. Once all items are cleaned out, please keep your locker unlocked.
- Federal Student Loan Exit Counseling Requirement. Graduating students (3Ls & LLMs) who borrowed federal student loans while at BU Law are required to complete Student Loan Exit Counseling. The exit counseling session provides important information to prepare you to repay your federal student loans. Go to the Federal Student Aid website to complete this requirement. Federal loan repayment options will be changing over the next couple years. Please reach out to bulawaid@bu.edu if you would like to talk through your repayment option choices.
- Summer Library Schedule. This summer, check the library hours page for the current library schedule and how to best connect with the Library team. You can expect the 3rd floor to be open Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm through the bar exam, with the exception of Memorial Day, Juneteenth, and July 4 when the library will be closed. The 2nd floor and Mezzanine will be closed for the summer. All library spaces will be closed the first two weeks of August for maintenance. In mid-August, library spaces will re-open M-F 9:00am-5:00pm.
- Summer Building Schedule. The Law Tower will remain swipe access for the law community only until May 22 at 8:00am. Summer building hours will be 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, and will be swipe access for the BU community.
- BU Law Grad Photo Station. There will be a photo station in The Redstone Room (10th floor, Room 1002) from 9:00am to 5:00pm on May 11th - 18th. Bring your own camera and capture pictures in front of the BU Law step and repeat. If a line forms at any time, please limit your time to 5 minutes while others are waiting. Light refreshments will be available while supplies last.
