ALL: Front Doors will remain unlocked during operating hours from August 24 – Monday, September 7. We will resume regular BU Community swipe access starting Tuesday, September 8. For more information on building hours, please click here.
ALL: Labor Day Library Hours. The Library will be open during Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 5 – Monday, September 7 from 10:00am – 6:00pm. To find more information on Library hours, please click here.
1Ls: Professional Attire Grant. Students interested in applying for a professional attire grant should review the email from Cheryl Constantine (bulawaid@bu.edu) dated August 11, 2026, and to apply by the September 11 deadline.
2Ls & 3Ls: Registration Deadline for the November MPRE: September 17. The Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) is a two-hour, 60-question multiple-choice examination that is administered three times per year and required for lawyer licensure in almost every U.S. jurisdiction. Rising 3Ls who haven't completed this bar requirement are strongly encouraged to apply before the Sept. 17th deadline. Please contact Tigran Eldred at eldredt@bu.edu for questions.
ALL: Sign Up for Friday Connections! This program encourages BU Law students to explore Boston while building connections within the law school community. Student Affairs will randomly select 10 students who sign up to participate, with 1–2 faculty/staff members joining each outing. All expenses are covered by Student Affairs. For our September outing, we’re taking a group of students on a historic tour of Boston's Nubian Sq with Live Like a Local Tours on Friday, 9/25, from 4-6 pm. Light refreshments from a local vendor will be provided. We’ll meet in the Atrium at 4 pm, then take the MBTA to the location. We’ll notify you by 9/17 if you’re selected or on the waitlist.
