ALL: Free BU Thanksgiving. Join the BU community for a traditional Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, November 27, from 11am - 3pm OR 5 - 8pm at the Marciano Commons. Dinner will include plenty of sweet goods, delicious side dishes, and oven-roasted delights, including great vegan options! Free for all BU students. You must register to attend by 11/24. You are welcome to bring a guest who is not a BU student; however, their cost will be $22 per person, payable at the door.
ALL: Library Hours. The Law Library will have adjusted holiday hours for Thanksgiving break.Be on the lookout for finals and intersession hours in next week's On the Docket.

*NOTE: The building will be closed on Thursday and Friday (and you will not be able to swipe in) to allow essential staff to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families.
ALL: Building Swipe Access. From Friday, December 5 until Friday, December 19, the Law Tower will be swipe-access only for the Law community. Signage will be up shortly to alert the broader community. Looking ahead, beginning on Friday, December 19 at 5 pm, the building will be closed to students for the duration of Intersession. All-BU card-swipe access will resume on Monday, January 5.
ALL: Continue Sharing your Gratitude! This is a chance to express your appreciation and shout out all the people who make BU Law great for you. You're also encouraged to make multiple submissions! You can also add your own leaf for the Gratitude Tree in the Law Library or fill one out at Student Affairs.
ALL: Winter 2025 Round of Funding for the Laura Bassi Scholarship. The Laura Bassi Scholarship was established in 2018 with the aim of providing editorial assistance to postgraduates and junior academics whose research focuses on neglected topics of study, broadly construed. Application deadline: 28 November 2025 (results 8 December 2025). All currently enrolled master’s and doctoral candidates are eligible to apply, as are academics in the first five years of full-time employment.
