The symposium will be broken up into three panels and a keynote address dealing with three key areas of the gun violence issue: 1) the current state of gun laws and responses to gun violence in the United States; 2) the current state of gun laws and responses to gun violence in peer countries throughout Europe; and 3) how should the United States respond to future incidents of gun violence and what lessons can be learned from other countries.
