Please join us on Thursday, October 10th for a lunch starting at noon, followed by a fireside chat with Paulette Brown, Former American Bar Association and National Bar Association President and Ghillaine Reid, Partner, Troutman Pepper and BUSL Alum 1995.

The lecture will discuss the experiences of women of color in the legal profession and the manner in which they are treated differently, adversely affecting their career trajectories. Women of Color in the legal profession have a history of facing barriers to success unlike any other demographic. These barriers include exclusion from leadership roles in corporations, law firms, bar associations, academia and government and beyond.
