This panel will explore the troubling intersection of technology and coercive control. From tracking devices and social media surveillance, technology has become a mechanism for coercion and abuse, posing significant challenges for survivors. The discussion will explore evolving legal remedies, how companies and survivors can address technology-faciliated abuse, and challenges faced by survivors. The panel will also examine creative community-based responses to technology-facilitated coercive control.
