Details
This event will bring together students passionate about creating a more equitable, just, and rehabilitative criminal justice system with attorneys and policy specialists who work to address the harms perpetuated by this system every day. Students will be provided with the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about the work being done on the ground to address systemic police brutality and the current mass incarceration crisis in the United States while learning about the different ways they can get involved in this sort of work both as students and in their careers after they leave the law tower. The event itself will be in a panel format, with time reserved at the end for students to ask any questions they may have.
