On behalf of the Be Yourself Orientation (BYO) coordinating team, we are thrilled to invite you to BYO on Tuesday, August 25, and Wednesday, August 26. This optional pre-orientation event is designed to support students whose identities are underrepresented in the legal community. BYO focuses on the experiences of students of color, LGBTQIA+ students, and students who are the first in their families to graduate from college.
Participants will connect with current students, administrators, and faculty who share similar identities and experiences, building meaningful relationships before the academic year begins. The program also includes group activities and excursions that explore Boston and highlight the city's rich and diverse history.
BYO is a great opportunity to build community, establish connections, and learn about the resources and people who will support you throughout your time at BU Law.
Schedule & Registration
To register for BYO, please click HERE. We kindly ask that you register no later than noon on Tuesday, August 18, to ensure we can accommodate everyone. While we will make every effort to accept late registrations, we encourage you to sign up by the deadline whenever possible, as space is limited.
