About Us

BU Housing, Organizing, & Movement Empowerment Society (HOMES) is a housing justice organization that supports local community organizers and empowers students to creatively apply their legal education to advocate for tenants' rights in collaboration with the broader community. We engage students in meaningful experiential learning and movement lawyering/building through weekly Know Your Rights trainings for tenants facing eviction and frequent work with local nonprofits and community organizations, including City Life/Vida Urbana.
