Clerking for a federal judge in the United States is one of the most sought-after opportunities for recent law graduates. Normally, only the top JD graduates in the country obtain these positions, but Judge William G. Young of the Federal District Court has offered graduating BU Law LLMs with a first degree in law from outside the United States the unique opportunity to serve as his judicial clerks for an unpaid clerkship during their postgraduate year.
